C.A.S.P. COVE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Many thanks to parent volunteers Kelly Anderson and Susan MacKinnon for helping Mrs. McGowen to get CASP running this Spring. We’re hoping to hold classes for four weeks, starting the last week of April through 3rd week of May. If you want to offer a class, contact us now! What do you love doing? Sports, crafts, games – come share it with the kids! Please contact Stephanie McGowan (steph_mcgowan@comcast.net) or Kelly Anderson (kurtkelly@comcast.net) with ideas or questions.
MRS. ANDERSON'S "MILEAGE CLUB
The week of April 30th through the end of the year, Mrs. Anderson will be starting a Mileage Club at recess. This is an opportunity for kids to walk or run at recess to earn toe tokens. Volunteers will be needed to be at school during recess to times to help with this. Specific days the program will run will be based on volunteers. More details to come! Please contact Kelly Anderson (kurtkelly@comcast.net)

Cove Birthday Book Club: The Birthday Book Club provides an opportunity to honor your child's birthday by donating a book to the library in his or her name. A cash or check donation to the PTO allows the librarian to purchase an age-appropriate book of the child's choice, or to fill in any gaps within the collection by purchasing a book from the library's wish list. A special bookplate is affixed to the book citing the child's name and birthday. What a great way to become part of the Cove Library for years to come! Fill out a form today (PDF)!
